ROCK ON!!!!!
Ok, so it's my second day of detasseling. Today I get up at 4:00 instead of 3:30, I eat breakfast, and I get ready. It had been raining since around one (I kept waking up at odd intervals) and of course, I had left my detasseling shoes outside, so they were soaked. Of course that didn't really matter because I knew I would get soaked too. My sister had to leave detasseling early because of her job at dairy queen, so I was the first (and only) kid on the bus for a couple of minutes. The whole way there I just sort of tried to tune everyone out (there really wasn't much to tune out; a couple of people were even sleeping) When we finally reached our destination two hours after I boarded the bus, the field was extremely muddy. And it was still raining. My crew, which was actually Blake's crew, wasn't very good. See, first me and Kendra would be moving fast, and then our whole crew would engage in conversation and we would slow down dramatically. Sadly, we got in trouble for this. But I didn't really care. I mean, here it is wet, muddy, and raining, and they think we're gonna be pulling like crazy? I'm too lazy for that. But I did get most of my tassels. Apparantly Blakes car cought on fire that morning, so he and Michelle (that's my sister
) left around twelve thirty. So I was put in Blakes younger brother's crew (Steve! heeheehee) and went a lot faster then. But I still was only average. Anyways, we worked until 3:30. Mikah's freakin hilarious. He was in my crew the whole time. He never stopped talking, and everything he said was just so...so...so...so Mikah. The way home was more interesting than yesterday. I was across from Steve, and he's just very, er, interesting, i guess. Or u could say he's crazy, which might be more fitting. I didn't get home until around five, and now here I am!
Tellin ya wat u don't care about
